Mount Sinai RefWorks users can now easily attach files to their saved references, much like attaching files to an email message! If you have a RefWorks account, you can now organize and store images, PDFs, Microsoft Office and other files within your personal RefWorks database. Do this by "Editing" an existing reference, browsing for the file, and clicking "Add attachment". For more information, please see: RefWorks’ Attachments fact sheet or call us at ext. 47204.
We now have access to the Wiley Handbook of Current and Emerging Drug Therapies, a comprehensive resource for biomedical, pharmaceutical, and drug discovery research. Content from this e-book is being updated in an ongoing basis by the publisher. Access to the Wiley Handbook of Current and Emerging Drug Therapies is available on the Library’s E-books page.
The library now has access to PILOTS (Published Literature on Traumatic Stress), a database produced by the National Center for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Its goal is to include citations to all literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events. Access PILOTS from the library’s databases page under the category Psychiatry and Psychology. Please note that this is NOT a full-text database, nor is it possible to link from PILOTS to the Levy Library’s full-text articles. To obtain the full-text for items found in PILOTS, please use the e-journals page and the online catalog.
Nature Publishing Group has launched Nature Network, a new free networking website for scientists. This "Web 2.0" resource promises to help scientists everywhere by allowing them to network, hold online discussions, showcase their work via personal homepages, share information with groups (open or private) and tag content. The site looks well-organized and easy to use. Scientists may want to check it out.
