We’re offering a new EndNote classs in March. EndNote X: Tricks & Tips will be held on March 20th from 4:00-5:00. If you’re already familiar with EndNote’s basic features, come to this class to learn some of it’s power functions – such as customizing output styles, inserting images and tables, and linking references to PDF’s. We’ll also cover what’s new in the EndNote X version, which was released last fall. To sign up for any of our library classes, please see our online schedule here. We’ve also posted some EndNote handouts and materials online here.
Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination 4th edition is now available on the Library’s e-books page and on the databases page (under the full-text electronic books category). This resource features streaming videos for each organ system. Each video shows a step-by-step physical examination and covers health history, documentation, communication, patient-physician interaction and more.
Check out the new look to the online library catalog! (In case you didn’t know, the catalog is the way you find books, journals, and other Levy library materials, both in print and online.) We’ve updated the colors and design, streamlined some functions, and added new searches like: "Mount Sinai Archives" for materials stored in the Archives, "Media Resource Center" for videos and audiovisual materials, and "New Books" so you can view a list of new books added to the library’s collection. If you have any comments or questions on the new catalog, we’d love to hear from you, please let us know.
